Madrid became the centre of European children's music as host of the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
RTVE, which organised the festival, trusted Droneit to document every step of the festival build with a professional time-lapse. What looked like a simple brief soon proved complex: continuous coverage of the build over a month, with high-quality images available to the organisers in real time.
Capturing the build with time-lapse
As audiovisual production specialists in Madrid, we designed a bespoke solution for this challenge. We installed DSLR cameras with wide-angle lenses, connected to our remote monitoring system, to cover the entire build. Our professional photography service in Madrid captured every phase of the project precisely, documenting both the technical progress and the visual impact of the event.
Droneit also provided a full event filming service in Madrid, producing dynamic, engaging content for RTVE. The key to success was the construction time-lapse, which ensured the entire stage build was recorded in full detail.

Innovative audiovisual solutions
With our proprietary VisionHub platform, RTVE was able to:
- Access captured images in real time.
- Watch a live stream of the installation.
- Compare images and generate cumulative or weekly videos.
- Edit and share material with internal teams and digital platforms.
- Apply artificial intelligence to improve the footage: removing noisy images, correcting distortion and optimising colour.
A success story in event audiovisual production
As this was a long-term time-lapse, an optimised storage system was set up so that every phase could be documented at the highest quality. Audiovisual production companies such as Droneit are transforming the sector with technologies like these, delivering audiovisual services for top-tier events. The project was completed successfully, meeting all of RTVE's technical and operational requirements. The system ran without interruption, delivering images of high documentary value and allowing the organisers to share the event's progress in a dynamic, effective way.
This project reinforces Droneit's position as an audiovisual company in Madrid, offering innovative audiovisual solutions for large-scale projects. As an audiovisual services company, we combine advanced technology with an expert production team in Madrid to deliver every project to the highest standard.
